Newness of Life in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Our Focus for April is "NEWNESS OF LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST" according to 2 Corinthians 5:17!!!!!

Hallelujah!!!! Let's continue to focus our time, attention and energy on allowing the Holy Spirit to daily shape and mold us into the image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let's intentionally commit to being DISCIPLES of Jesus in all that we say and do. Let our consistent filter be these thoughts.... "What would Jesus say?" and "What would Jesus do?" and then allow the Holy Spirit to help us to speak and act according to His leadership. Philippians 4:13 says "we can do ALL things thru Jesus Christ who gives us strength". Let's make this scripture a reality in our daily lives....easy stuff, hard stuff, sad stuff, happy stuff, mundane stuff, exciting stuff...WE CAN DO ALL THINGS because the GREATER ONE lives in each one of us!!!!

According to 1John 4:4.. SO, LET'S THINK LIKE IT....LET'S TALK LIKE IT....LET'S ACT LIKE IT!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!! 

Cameroon

As you know, Each month you will receive the name of the leader of the nation and specific prayer targets for the nation in our monthly PPV blog. As always, please remember you have the liberty to be led by our Holy Spirit during your prayer time for the nations. Our monthly prayers will be based on the following scriptures: 1 Timothy 2:1, 2…..Matthew 28:18-20…. Matthew 24:14 

These are the general prayer targets for the nations every day, in the mighty name of Jesus: 

1. Father God, we ask for OPEN HANDS to minister the gospel (Proverbs 2:20)

2. Father God, we ask for OPEN DOORS to spread the gospel (Colossians 4:2,3)

3. Father God, we ask for OPEN MINDS to receive the gospel (Acts 26:17,18)

4. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEARTS to embrace the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:6)

5. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEAVENS so the gospel will transform nations(Isaiah 45:8)

Prayer Requests for Cameroon:

1.Leadership and discipleship training urgently needed in the church

2.Due to lack of spiritual disciplines in the church, great deficiency in the growth of believers living according to Biblical principles

3.More Bible Translations needed and also more Christian literature, radio programs, and visual media

Watchmen on the Wall Needed

We are still in need of watchmen to cover the hours of 9am and 3pm to 8pm and any other hours that a person may be led to pray!!!! The more watchmen on the wall, the more effective and powerful our prayers are...Isaiah 62:6,7. Please get the word out to friends and family who you know that desire to be used by the Lord as watchmen or intercessors(those who have a burning desire to pray for others) James 5:16-18 is still the TRUTH today!!!! 

Corporate Prayer Time

Our April Corporate Prayer time will be Sunday April 13 @ 3-5pm at my home and online including a time of fasting from 9am -5pm. We will take communion together as we end our time of prayer. Please join us for the entire 2 hours or for whatever portion fits your schedule. I look forward to seeing you!!!! Corporate prayer is POWERFUL as the word says in Matthew 18:18-20. Global Family Prayer

On Friday February 2 we will begin our 3rd year of being on the GLOBAL FAMILY PRAYER platform! It has been AMAZING to pray with people from all over this country(Pennsylvania, Boston, Cincinnati, Houston, New York,etc) and especially ALL OVER THE WORLD(India, Pakistan, Australia, Uganda, China,Ghana, Kenya, etc) Please make a special effort to join us @ 4am with us.

"Our Battle"

After a cruel attack on the life of a young man on the parking lot of Calvary Bible Church in Florissant, MO a committed group of pastors decided to come together to Pray and stand against the attacks of the enemy on our city, state, country, and world. We believe this monthly gathering is evidence of the prayers that have been going forth in out city to "tear down wickedness, raise up righteousness, and bring healing to our land." As believers we have the spiritual authority and faith filled prayer is a God ordained way for us to exercise that authority. In support of this prayer gathering please join us as "we pray heaven to earth" (Matthew 6:10).
